The Creators Project: a dive with SuperUber
Precisely because of its mysteries, both the space and the sea are always related to fascinating images. We recently spoke about the work of German multimedia artist, Michael Koenig, an impressive time-lapse video of the land captured from space. In an opposite dive, the Imax film, Under theSea 3D (2009) shows multicolored and exotic underwater world recorded in high definition.
On June 8th, the newest project from our creators SuperUber was inaugurated, which in addition to projecting high-definition images of the marine world, creates an immersive and interactive environment at the Buzios’ Coral Reef Park Visitor Center, in Rio de Janeiro. The large projection is mapped onto screens in the shape of corals, which occupy the entire room and invite visitors to discover the sea of Buzios and interact with the virtual ecosystem. There are also four interactive screens that provide information on local marine species and natural phenomena through maps and games, where you can, for example, eliminate one species from the ecosystem and watch the consequences.
SuperUber has already made other noteworthy works in the educational / culture fields, such as the Museum of the Portuguese Language in Sao Paulo.
