Exhibition Claudius: Quixote do humor

Multimedia exhibition

SuperUber was invited to design the multimedia exhibition Claudius at SESC Santo Amaro , São Paulo. The exhibition celebrates the work of Claudius Ceccon – architect, designer , cartoonist and journalist – over his 50-year career.

The museography creates physical modules that resemble sheets of paper (base material of the artist) and spreads them throughout the walls, filled with drawings.

The panels blend images, text and screens. The color palette is inspired by Claudius’ drawings, and each color represents a theme of his work: politics, education, sustainability, city life. At kids’ height, the panels exhibit children’s drawings.

Interaction: the content is also created by the public.

In the digital mural, people write and draw on a touch screen, creating content for a larger projection mosaic. The projection mixes the public’s drawings with the artist’s drawings. On another wall, a projection shows a “rain” of drawings that visitors can touch, throw up and drop. The result is people moving and dancing, interacting with drawings that exist only in the virtual space of the projection.
