Techkriti Festival
Interactive installations _ Kanpur - Índia
The Festival had 2 SuperUber installations:
Super Pong, a mix of foosball and the classic video game Pong. It’s a projection on a table, with dial controllers that move the lines of players up and down. Instead of just 2 players like in Pong, here up to 8 people can play; each team has a goal keeper, defense, mid-field and forward. When you score a goal, you get to watch a minimalist animation inspired by Pelé. It’s a re-interpretation of one of the first video games (Pong) mixed with foosball. Super Pong doesn’t need instructions, it’s simple and straight forward — it brings the minimalist aesthetics of old video games to the contemporary audience.
Super Objects, people can play with a rain of virtual objects by moving their bodies.
